「時間の痕跡」を主軸に未知の古代遺物を創造する。
現代のように膨大な情報にアクセスできなかった遠い祖先の記憶。
それは古代遺物に刻み込まれ、純度の高い“願い”や“憧れ”が土偶や埴輪、青銅器などの形となって現れているのではないか。
その緻密な装飾やどこか愛らしいシルエットは時代を超えて人々を魅了し続けている。
私たちが博物館で遺物と対峙した時に感じる途方もない時間とロマンを再構成し、現代に新たな痕跡として記録する。
The main focus is on "traces of time," creating unknown ancient relics.
The memories of our distant ancestors, who did not have access to the vast amount of information that we have today.
These memories may have been imprinted on ancient relics,
and their highly pure "wishes" and "longings" may appear in the form of clay figurines, haniwa clay figurines, bronze vessels, and so on.
Their intricate decorations and somehow adorable silhouettes continue to fascinate people throughout the ages.
My aim is to reconstruct the inordinate amount of time and romance that one feels when confronted with relics in museums, and to record them
as new traces in the present day.
